In addition to our yearly bus network reviews, we are constantly working with operators to monitor services and make improvements where we can. To increase the efficiency of the network, bus operators may make minor changes to their services throughout the year.
Bus operators must register these changes with us six weeks in advance, but occasionally urgent changes will have less notice. Below is a list of all changes we have been made aware of.
We work to update our online timetables, journey planner, and at-stop information before the change date, however this is not always possible. Please check your journey before you travel to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.
Ticketing
Some bus routes will change operator.
Nbus is now the only ticket for bus travel and can be used on any operator in the West Midlands.
Changes to service numbers 1 to 10
From Sunday 7th April until autumn 2024, there will be changes to bus stops around Birmingham City Centre as Metro extension works begin on Moor Street Queensway.

From Saturday 31st August, this Arriva service will be operating on a revised timetable in Bridgnorth. This is to improve punctuality on the Bridgnorth to Sydney Cottage section of the route.
There are no changes to this timetable in the West Midlands.
Changes to service numbers 11 to 25
From Sunday 1st August, this National Express service will be extended from Willenhall to SEGRO Park with additional journeys added.
From Sunday 1st August, this National Express service will be operating on an increased frequency.
From Sunday 1st August, this National Express service will operate on a revised timetable and route. Some journeys will be re-routed via Warwick Road Bridge to serve Coventry Railway Station.

Changes to service numbes 26 to 50
From Saturday 31st August, these Stagecoach services will operate a revised timetable.
46A morning buses from Hawkesley (Driftwood Close) to QE Hospital will now run earlier, the 0630 will leave at 0615 and 0730 will leave at 0725.
Changes to service numbers 51 to 90
From Sunday 1st September, this National Express service will be operating a revised route and timetable
From Sunday 29th September, these National Express services will be rerouted in Cape Hill to serve the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
Changes to service numbers 91 to 1000
From Saturday 31st August, this Arriva service will be operating on a revised timetable and route
Due to roadworks, from Sunday 1st September until December 2024, this National Express service will be operating on a diversion.
Diverted via Great Charles Street Queensway, Sandpits, Clement Street then normal line of route.
From Saturday 31st August, this Stagecoach service will operate a revised route, it will no longer serve Westridge Road.
From Sunday 1st September, this Select service will now be operated by Diamond Bus, there will be no change to the route or timetable.
From Sunday 1st September, these Select services will be replaced by a new service between Wolverhampton and Staffordshire, the service will be renumbered to 876.
Changes to service numbers A to Z
From Saturday 31st August, this Stagecoach service will operate a revised timetable to improve reliability.
From Tuesday 27th August, this Arriva service will operate under a revised timetable, some of these changes are being made to accommodate passenger numbers at the busiest times of the day.
To provide capacity for customers traveling end to end (Coventry - Leicester or vice-versa) certain journeys will no longer call at Hinckley.
From Sunday 1st September, this National Express service will be operating a revised route and timetable.
