Local Travel Point pilot: apply to use a cycle hangar

Cycle hangars are safe, covered spaces where you can park your bike. They are particularly useful for people who lack space at home, work nearby, or regularly visit the local area.

Other cycle hangar users park their bike in the same space. You unlock the cycle hangar with a mobile app and access is managed by Transport for West Midlands.

Three cycle hangars are available as part of the Local Travel Point pilot. Each one has space for up to six bikes. As part of the launch, we are offering free access for six months.

Complete the form to apply. Our team will process your application and be in touch within three working days. As part of the process, we will require some documentation, including identification (e.g. passport or driver's licence), proof of address, and a photo of your bike. We will give priority to local residents.

If you have questions about your application, please email localtravelpoints@tfwm.org.uk.
